When is the European Juggling Convention (EJC) happening?

Are there ways we can help in advance of and during the event?

You could volunteer right now. There is a lot of work to be done, and we already have people from as far away as Australia helping us out. The most important thing anyone could do is share, share, share – Tell your friends about EJC!

How do I volunteer for the EJC? 

You can sign up while you are at the EJC, and can also sign up to help in advance by following this link and filling out the form.

Will there be camping space? 

Yes, there will be more than enough space for everybody to camp. 

Are you planning an aerial space?

We would like to, but it is dependent on what arrangements we can make with our insurance provider. 

 Do you plan to have some kind of disco/dance floor?

Yes. We intend to have a bar tent with a dance floor. 

What do I need to bring to an EJC?

We have a page for that.

I am buying a ticket for several people at the same time. What information will I need to enter, so I can gather that from everyone in advance?

You will be prompted for the name, date of birth and e-mails for each attendee during the registration process.

What if we are a youth circus and unsure who will attend?

You can wait until closer to the event to buy youth or child tickets, as these prices will not change. We recommend facilitators buy adult tickets at the lowest phase possible. Please be aware there are no refunds and transferring tickets will incur the ticket transfer cost of €10. 

Can I get a refund for my ticket?

There are no refunds available for this event, so please be aware of this before you purchase tickets. If you wish to appeal this, we will deal with this on a case by case basis after the event. Travel insurance or event insurance may cover this event, in the case of emergency or illness, so please consider purchasing insurance externally. 

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?

If you need to transfer your ticket to someone else, there will be a €10 fee and can be organised by e-mailing prereg.ejc.ireland@outlook.com. All ticket transfers will end on 30th June, without exception.

I  want to run a workshop at EJC. How does that work?

You can sign up at the convention at the workshop board, but if you know what you want to run in advance, contact workshops.ejc.ireland@outlook.com to schedule it. Please do this if your workshop has special requirements.

I want to attend a workshop. Do I need to sign up in advance?

There will be both virtual and online workshop boards, and you can see what’s available when you arrive at EJC, hopefully in advance also. Most workshops do not require sign-up in advance, and will be clearly specified if they do.
