The European Juggling Convention (EJC) is run for jugglers, by jugglers – and depends on people giving their time voluntarily, which helps keep the tickets affordable. There are lots of ways to get involved both big and small, that help make the event what it is. EJC is completely volunteer run, from the organising team to the bar staff: even a few hours here and there are a huge help that we appreciate.
Volunteering Roles
There is plenty to do before and during the event. Your role could be administrative, creating maps or booklets. Merchandise is always in demand, as is managing our social media. Your experience might be better suited to help with some of the shows, youth circus activities or on-site shops. Other jobs include checking bags, decorating, helping at the registration desk, or even helping set up and tear down the site!
You can see the list of roles in the Jobs Booklet. This document includes all the jobs you can do, including work in the planning stage. If you feel your strengths better fit activites during the event, general jobs are at the bottom of the booklet, where you can sign up to do shifts.
After reviewing the jobs and finding something of interest, you can fill the volunteer sign up form at this link.
If you have any questions, contact the @volunteer team or @volunteer coordinator on
